VCBA Community Meeting

»

On Tuesday, September 15th from 8:00am-10:00am at the Vail Chophouse in Lionshead, the Vail Chamber & Business Association will be holding one of its regular community meetings.  These meetings provide a great opportunity to meet with other business owners and community leaders to discuss ideas and strategies that might help improve your business.  Guest speakers from the Town of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Vail and Vail Resorts frequent these events to discuss what is happening in town or own the mountain.  The ability to interact in these discussions is invaluable to those that attend.  As always, these meetings are open to the public, so we ask anyone that is interested in what is going on around town to attend and participate in the dialog.

The VCBA is currently enrolling new membership for the upcoming winter season.  As a business advocacy group, the VCBA continues to provide its members with a broad variety of benefits, including media credits, access to our database and inclusion in the Vail Guide.  As a communication tool, our weekly E-News Updates are a great way to get your message to a large audience. VCBA members have free access to this weekly publication.  In many cases we act as a collective voice for the business community by addressing issues that many business feel that are out of their control.

Involvement with the Town of Vail and the Vail community is an important role of the VCBA.  This is an election year for Vail as a number of seats on the Town Council will be available.  If you are interested in running for Town Council, you can get the required documents from the Town of Vail starting on Monday.  Over the course of the election, the VCBA will host a candidate’s forum which will be disclosed at a later date.
The Vail Chamber & Business Association is the leading business advocacy group for businesses in Vail.  The VCBA is a communications outlet for businesses that need to have a voice.  If you are interested in becoming a member,  would like to participate in any of our events or would like to receive our weekly E-News Updates, please contact the VCBA at 970.477.0075 or email us at info@vailchamber.org <mailto:info@vailchamber.org>
